Linux comes in many shapes and sizes. You can choose what brand of Linux you want. Below you will find a summary of the brands of Linux that we offer. If you can't choose we can pick one for you, based of the hardware of your computer and friendly chat about what you would like to do with your computer.

  • Ubuntu

    Ubuntu is probably the most popular brand of Linux around today. It has a very large group of supporters and very busy and friendly support forums. It's user interface is called Gnome. http://www.ubuntu.com

  • Kubuntu

    Kubuntu is Ubuntu's sister. It works similary but has a different user interface called KDE that allows more configuration. It's also a little more complex. http://www.kubuntu.com

  • Linux Mint

    Linux Mint is a relatively new but very friendly brand of Linux. It can be installed with the Gnome or with the KDE user interface. There is also a third user interface called XFCE which is very good for older, slower computers. http://linuxmint.com/

  • Fedora

    Fedora is the basis of the well know Red Hat Linux. It is one of the most stable versions of Linux but it does not have too many multimedia functions by default. This makes it very suitable for a business desktop.

  • Simply Mepis

  • Mandriva

    Debian is one of the oldest and well-know brands of Linux around. It is very stable and it includes the biggest collection of software by far, over 20,000 packages. It's also the most complex brand of these five but still suitable for new Linux users. http://www.debian.org
